Alice Rensy’s movements curatorial approach is a research in connecting performance artists and audience. It strives to create the context of honest communication, to experience sharing. The performance artists involved cover a wide range of aesthetics, mostly performing artists, as well as non-professionals, from different backgrounds, ranging from abstractive minimalists to highly physical movers such as ballet dancers and acrobates. The performances mix styles, and also formats, intertwining live performances together with spoken sharings (not Q&A) and film extracts screenings. The pace of the whole event is a key in the creation of the programmes, so are the transitions between pieces : It is about walking a fine line between presenting each individual performance with authenticity and respect, and colluding differences.
